Airports Authority  of India (AAI), a Government  of India Public Sector Enterprise,  consti- tuted  by  an Act  of  Parliament,  is  entrusted  with  the  responsibility  of  creating,  upgrad- ing,  maintaining  and  managing  civil  aviation  infrastructure  both  on  the  ground  and  air space  in the country. The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at sole discretion of AAI.

  1. Only Indian Nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply for the above posts.

Essential Qualification : Full time regular  Bachelor’s Degree  in Engineer- ing/Technology with minimum  60%marks in Electronics/ Telecommuni- cations/  Electrical with specialization  in Electronics from a recognized/ deemed university or from an apex Institution i.e., IIT recognized . Important instructions:

(a)The essential  qualifications  acquired  through distance  learning/part time or equivalent qualifications  such AMIE/Certificate etc. shall not  be considered.

(b)Where a specialization  is required in the qualifying degree in the es- sential qualification, candidate is required to submit a certificate from the University/Institution with a clear mention of their specialization  in the qualifying degree.

(c)In the case of Integrated Master’s Degree in Engineering, candidate will have to produce a certificate at the time of document verification in sup- port of possession of Graduate  degree and statement of marks in Engi- neering issued by the University/Institution.

(d)Candidate must specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the ap- plication. Where percentage of marks is not awarded by the University but only CGPA/OGPA/DGPA/CPI etc.is awarded,  the same shall be converted into percentage in terms of conversion norms of University in this regard. Candidate will have to produce the equivalence certificate/document is- sued by the University evidencing equivalent percentage of marks, when called for document verification.

(e)Round off % age will not  be acceptable under  any circumstances for consideration for appointment i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%.

(f )Only the  candidates with qualifying GATE Marks on GATE Score Card will be eligible to apply for the  post  of Junior Executive (Engineering  – Civil/Electrical) and Junior Executive (Electronics).

(g)The date  of declaration of result  / issuance  of Mark Sheet  shall be deemed to be date of acquiring  the  qualification  and  there  shall be no relaxation  on this ac- count.

(h)No experience is essential to apply for the above posts.

AGE LIMIT AS ON 30/09/2017

i. Not more than 27 years for Unreserved  Candidate.

ii.Not more than 30 years for OBC candidate.

iv.For Ex-servicemen, age relaxation  is applicable  as prescribed by Govt. of India Orders Issued from time to time

v. Relaxation by Five(05) Years for

the candidate who had ordinarily been  domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.80 to 31.12.1989 and candidate has to pro- vide the certificate for the same issued by District Magistrate/Block Devel- opment Officer/Sub Divisional Officer at the time of document verification. vi.The Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examina- tion Certificate will only be accepted.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

  1. Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure  that  he/she fulfills the  eligibility and  other  norms  mentioned in the  Advertisement. Furnishing of wrong/false information will be a disqualification  and AAI will not be responsible for any consequence of furnishing of such wrong/ false information.
  2. Screening and eligibility will be based on the details provided  by the candidate. Candidates shortlisted on  the  basis  of GATE  Marks will be called directly for document verification which will be held at Corporate Headquarters at New Delhi.

iii. Candidates already working in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector  Undertaking  are required to produce “No Objection  Certificate” from the  present employer  at the  time of document verification. Other claims such as undertaking to resign in the event  of selection,  acknowl- edged copy of applied NOC /resignation letter, experience certificate etc. shall not be considered in place of NOC.

iv. Call letter for appearing for document verification will be sent to the candidates at their registered e-mail ID. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for document verification without a copy of the call letter.

v.During document verification, the candidate will have to produce their Original Certificates along .0with a proof of identity and one set of self- attested photocopies of the Certificates. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt or he/she is not able to produce the requisite  documents or there  is mismatch  of information in the documents, his/her  candidature will be rejected.  No additional time will be given for producing original documents.

vi.On finalization of document verification, selection  will be made  as per merit list prepared on the GATE Marks of applied candidates. vii.Appointment of successful candidates will be subject to verification of various original documents relating to Age, Qualifications, Caste & Medi- cal fitness certificate.

Scale of Pay: Rs.16400-3%-40500 (E-1)

Emoluments:  In addition  to Basic Pay, increment @ 3% of Basic Pay per annum,  Dearness  Allowance, Perks @ 46% of Basic Pay, HRA and  Other benefits  which includes  CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes,  Medical Benefits, uniform allowance etc., are admissible as per AAI rules. The Cost to Company per annum  would be around Rs. 7.2 lakhs approximately for the post of Junior Executive respectively. The Pay package  is due for revi- sion as per DPE guidelines  under the 3rd PRC .

(iii) Writing of various statistical  reports.  (iv) Conducting  of various  research  studies  as per the requirement from time to time. (v) Supervision of updation of data into designed  programmes  /computer  systems and collection of data/records.  (vi) Logical  checking  and  verification/updating  of date/records.   1. 1. CITIZENSHIP:

A Candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the

intention of permanently settling in India, or

  1. 2. AGE LIMITS: The  age  limit  for the post  has  been  given  in the advertisement.

For   certain   age   concessions   admissible   to  various   categories please go through the

      1. i) Candidates must apply online through the website http://www. nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
      2. ii) Candidates must upload the following documents/certificates relating to educational qualification, Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed  format),  Desirable  Qualification(s)  or any other information, as claimed in the online application, in a single pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 27. DOCUMENTS/  CERTIFICATES   TO  BE  PRODUCED  AT  THE TIME OF3. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL  QUALIFICATIONS:  All  applicants  must fulfill the essentialrequirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement.   They  are  advised   to  satisfy   themselves   beforeapplying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for various posts.         (d)  By  counting   experience   before   or  after   the  acquisition   of essential qualifications.

        (e)  By  invoking   experience   even   in  cases   where   there   is  no experience  mentioned  either as Essential Qualification  (EQ) or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

        (f) By holding a Recruitment Test.

        THE  CANDIDATE   SHOULD,  THEREFORE,   MENTION  ALL  HIS/ HER QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  IN THE RELEVANT FIELD OVER AND ABOVE THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

        NOTE-III:-

        IMPORTANT

        (i) The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45  marks,  SC/ST/PH-40  marks,  out of the total  marks  of interview being 100.

        (ii)  In  cases  where  selection  is  made  by  Recruitment  Test  (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at both stages i.e.

        ‘Recruitment  Test’ as well as ‘Interview’.  The minimum  level of suitability in case of RT shall be decided by the Commission on case to case basis.

        1. 4. APPLICATION FEE:=(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit

        (b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women  candidates of any community. No “fee exemption”  is available  to OBC male candidates  and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

        (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

        (d)  Fee  once  paid  shall  not  be  refunded  under  any  circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

        1. 5. CONCESSIONS & RELAXATIONS:

        (a) The upper age limit in case of Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers  including  ECOs/SSCOs  shall be relaxed  by five years subject  to  the  condition  that  on  the  closing  date  for  receipt of  applications  the  continuous  service  rendered  in  the Armed Forces by an Ex-Serviceman is ii) Relaxation of age limit would be permissible to such persons who have a minimum of 40% disability.

        iii) If a person with disability is entitled to age concession by virtue of  being  a  Central  Government  employee,  concession  to  him/ her  will  be  admissible  either  as  a  ‘person  with  disability’  or as a ‘Central Government employee’ whichever may be more beneficial to him/her.

        6.(A) HOW TO APPLY: MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that purpose,  the applicant may scan the following documents/certificates  in 200 dpi grey scale.

        Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter,  Relieving  Letter,  Un-signed  Experience  Certificate  etc. must not be uploaded in the Document  INTERVIEW.
